For users with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 graphics cards and newer, DLSS Frame Generation is available as an option in the Display menu. If enabled, NVIDIA Reflex is also enabled. DLSS Frame Generation can be used in combination with DLSS Super Resolution, or other upscaling technologies available in the game.
Multi Frame Generation is available to users with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 GPU, for supported games through the in-game settings. You can use DLSS Multi Frame Generation via the in-game settings to generate one, two or three additional frames. This corresponds with the DLSS Multi Frame Generation 2X, 3X and 4X modes.
To enable DLSS Multi Frame Generation in other games, you can use the DLSS Override - Frame Generation feature that can be found in the driver settings of the NVIDIA app.
Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling must be enabled in Windows to use DLSS Frame Generation. In Windows 11, this option is enabled by default. To enable this feature in Windows 10, press the Windows key on your keyboard, type Graphics settings and press enter. This will open the Graphics settings menu. Here you can enable Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling. A restart of your computer is required to activate the feature.
