The game does not start on Epic Games

If you are experiencing issues with a game not launching through the Epic Games Launcher, as a possible workaround, you can try to use the -SkipBuildPatchPrereq launcher option.

1. Close the Epic Games Launcher entirely.
2. Right-click on the Epic Games Launcher shortcut and click Properties.
3. At the end of the Target line insert the following: -SkipBuildPatchPrereq
   Important: Ensure you insert a space at the end of the Target line before adding -SkipBuildPatchPrereq
   Example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Binaries\Win32\EpicGamesLauncher.exe" -SkipBuildPatchPrereq
4. Click on Apply.
5. Right-click on the Epic Games Launcher shortcut.
6. Click on Run as Administrator.
