What versions of NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR and Intel XeSS are supported?
The game launches with NVIDIA DLSS 4, AMD FSR 4 and Intel XeSS 2. Both upscaling and frame generation are available for all these technologies. You'll also find PICO as an option in Upscale Settings. This “Progressive Image Compositor” is developed by Guerrilla for the DECIMA engine and is the same upscaling technology that's used for DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH on PS5.
Can I combine different upscaling and frame generation technologies?
Yes. You can combine the various upscaling and frame generation options that are supported by your hardware to your own liking. For example: NVIDIA DLSS upscaling can be combined with AMD FSR or Intel XeSS frame generation.
What controllers are supported?
The PC version of DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH has full support for Steam Input, Xbox and PlayStation controllers, including DualSense support with haptic feedback and adaptive triggers (wired connection is required to use all DualSense features).
